Kevin Gallegly is a graduate of Art Center  College of design. He is currently head of matte painting at Stargate Studios, and has worked as a Digital Matte Painter/ VFX Artist on shows such as “Gotham,” “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” and Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” among others. As an animation artist, Kevin art directed “Tom Goes to the Mayor” for Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim as well as color supervised on many Nickelodeon shows for animation studio Klasky Csupo such as “Rugrats,” “The Wild Thornberrys,” and “Rocket Power,” etc. It all began in 1995, though, with his first job out of art school as a colorist for Malibu Comics on all of their classic titles such as “Prime” and “Night Man” and then color supervisor when Malibu was acquired by Marvel Comics, working on all major Marvel titles.

     When not working, Kevin likes to relax by creating original tiki necklaces, candles, and paintings. Kevin has been married for over 20 years and has three daughters all showing their unique qualities and skills!
