J.W. Franklin is a freelance artist currently working out of Massachusetts. He grew up and spent his whole life in Rhode Island where his interest in art began. He studied the art of storytelling, graphic art, cartooning, and commercial art at the Joe Kubert School for Graphic Art and Cartooning and graduated in 2019. Some artists that inspire J.W. are Bernie Wrightson, Gene Colan, Graham Ingles, Wally Wood, Greg Capullo, Simon Bisley, Kelly Jones, and Mark Schultz just to name a few.
